Sometime ago I saw a TV show about immigrants on several parts of the world, and there was one in Amsterdam, where the lady gave a little tour of the city and mentioned cheese markets in Netherlands. So I decided I wanted to draw something with cheese pff. Looks more like an old bakery than any photos of the so called cheese markets I saw but shhhhh what do I know about it.
KAAS = CHEESE. see i’m learning
“Hoe gaat het met jou?” “Het gaat heel goed.” Well, I can now answer the all-important “How are you?”
Also “Het gaat heel goed” is an awful tonguetwister because there are two of the guttural stop “g” sounds and two of the h’s, which sound similar, and, aghh, my throat feels weird (I think that means I need to go to sleep…)
Verbs tomorrow. Huge chapter. This will take a LONG time.
But, I can now pronounce stuff! Progress ^.^
